====== User management ====== To manage users, you must have the "Can delegate" permission. Available in the admin interface under Users. To add administrative access to someone, check whether he/she doesn't already have a Náboj account by using the search functionality. These accounts are shared between years and also between branches. If the account doesn't exist, you can create a new user. He/She will receive login details including password via email. ===== Permissions explained ===== There are two kinds of permissions in the Náboj system: * **Branch permissions**, which are bound to the branch (Math, Junior...) and are persistent between competition years. * **Competition permissions**, which are bound to the competition year (visible in the top of the sidebar). ==== Branch permissions ==== * **Allow access to content management** - allows the user to access the Content section of the sidebar - editing pages, menus, logos... * **Is branch administrator** - allows the user to do anything in the given branch There are also hidden branch permissions that can be granted only by system administrators (contact [[naboj-it@trojsten.sk]] if required): * **School editor** - allows the user to edit schools * **Photographer** - allows the user to manage and upload photos of the competition ==== Competition permissions ==== * **Venue administrator in** - marks the user as a venue administrator. Venue administrators can access and manage everything related to their venue(s). They can also edit their venue(s). * **Country administrator in** - marks the user as a country administrator. Country administrators are equivalent to venue administrators that have all venues of a given country allowed. Moreover, they can create new venues. * **Can delegate permissions** - allows the user to grant permissions to other users. But only allows him/her to grant the same or lesser permissions as he/she has. * **Limit to operator access** - marks the user as an operator. An operator has fewer permissions than an administrator. He can mostly just view and edit teams, use the scanner and do venue review. This is recommended for people that are organizing the competition at the venue, but don't need to have full access over it. A user cannot be a venue administrator and a country administrator at the same time.
